Fund Overview

ComRIT is a limited partnership established in the Cayman Islands by Ziv Spair and IBI Investment House that commenced operations in July 2015. The fund targets yielding real estate assets in the US and invests in them through real estate clusters that are joint in a tax structure of a public non-traded REIT. As of October 2020, the fund manages approximately 250M USD and its portfolio includes 26 asset clusters that are managed by 12 different managing companies.

Strategy

The fund invests in income-producing real estate in the United States, mainly in REIT funds, about 3 years old, after the stage of acquiring the assets. The fund is mainly used as a secondary fund for target investors, as the fund usually executes the takeover bid at a price lower than the Nav’s  REIT price, while taking advantage of the investors’ need to liquidate their investment.
