Founded in 1990, the Ogen group is a non-profit organization that operates as a social credit institution. The purpose of the group is to provide access to credit as well as financial guidance to disadvantaged populations in Israel, businesses and non-profit organizations that are facing financial obstacles. In order to expand its capital sources, Ogen Social Bonds issues social bonds that is backed by an existing loan portfolio, with an overall value of 50M Shekel.

For the purpose of expanding its capital sources, Ogen issues social bonds backed by a loan portfolio, which was granted during 2020. The social bonds are divided into three layers, which offer investors a different risk-return ratio and with a base layer of 15% of the total bond, which is financed by Ogen as a protective layer for investors.
