Fund Overview:
Hamilton Lane Global Private Assets Fund (GPA) is a global Evergreen fund, registered in Luxembourg and began operations in May 2019. The fund is managed by the Hamilton Lane group, which was established in the United States in 1991 and is considered one of the largest and oldest investment firms in the world for managing and advising on private market investments. The group became a public company in 2017 and currently employs approximately 740 employees across 22 offices worldwide, including a representative office in Israel. The fund operates in an open structure (Evergreen) and, as of February 2025, manages assets worth approximately $5.2 billion, spread across more than 190 investments.

Strategy:
The fund focuses on private equity investments, primarily through co-investment and secondary transactions, alongside a component of debt investments. These transactions are carried out alongside experienced sponsors who lead the investment and collaborate with the fund throughout the investment’s lifecycle. The investment process utilizes Hamilton Lane’s investment platform at all decision-making stages: opportunity identification, initial analysis, due diligence, and ongoing portfolio management. The fund aims for broad diversification by sectors, geographies, and sponsors, and it allows for monthly liquidity subject to certain limitations.
