Fund Overview:
Established in 1978, CD&R has been engaged in initiating and managing private equity buyout funds. The fund is the 11th fund for the partners. As of July 2020, the firm consists of nearly 30 partners with vast expertise in various fields and a team of 75 employees. Overall, the firm has invested more than 26B USD at approximately 100 investments and has realized its investments for more than 44B USD.

Strategy:
Specializes in “Buyout” investments via acquisition of the target companies, mostly medium-sized companies in North America and Western Europe. The intention is to make investments over a period of about five years, invest in companies and generate value by combining financial skill and expertise from the industry and maximizing returns through organic and inorganic growth.
