Fund Overview:
Hamilton Lane Senior Credit Opportunities Fund (“SCOPE”) is a fund that was founded by Hamilton Lane Inc., is registered in Luxembourg, and started operating in November 2022. The Hamilton Lane group was founded in 1991 and became public in 2017. The group manages a wide variety of funds, and employs approximately 600 employees in 23 offices worldwide. The fund provides Direct Lending and is an Evergreen fund (an open fund) in which the investment can be redeemed following prior notice and according to the withdrawal procedure. The fund differs from its predecessors as past Debt funds within the group were closed funds.

Strategy:
The fund will invest in direct lending to private companies located in North America and Europe. The fund will mainly focus on providing senior debt with first lien collateral, alongside other investment funds, through co-invest with debt funds and providing financing to portfolio companies of PE funds. The fund uses Hamilton Lane’s investment platform at all stages of the investment process, for the purpose of locating investments, analyzing them and managing the portfolio.
