The IBI Falcon High Yield Fund was established and commenced operations in October 2024 by IBI Investment House. The fund operates in the distressed debt space and manages an investment portfolio composed of non-performing loans (NPLs) secured by real estate assets.
Strategy
The fund’s investment strategy focuses on the acquisition and management of non-performing loans (NPLs) in the United States, secured by first-lien residential real estate, including both single-family and multi-family properties. The fund identifies opportunities in the NPL market and acquires loans outright, typically in partnership with a local operator who co-invests alongside the fund. Following acquisition, the fund seeks to realize value either through full loan repayment including default interest, or alternatively through foreclosure and the monetization of the underlying real estate asset.
