Strategy

This investment activity has been ongoing since 2003. Similar to its predecessors, the fund pursues Direct Co-Investments, primarily in small- to mid-cap companies with an enterprise value of $1–3 billion. It plans to invest in approximately 65–80 companies across various sectors and geographies. Investments are made alongside sponsors who possess deep industry expertise and a proven investment track record. HarbourVest leverages its longstanding relationships, developed through Primary and Secondary investments, to gain access to high-quality opportunities. The fund seeks to achieve its target returns through the growth of portfolio companies, revenue expansion, operational improvements, and enhanced efficiency.
