Fund Overview:
The Resolute Fund VI is a limited partnership established by TJC Group – The Jordan Company and registered in Delaware. The group was founded in 1982 and since 2002 has been engaged in the establishment and management of PE funds that carry out Mid-Market Buyout transactions through the purchase of medium-sized companies in the USA. The fund in question is the sixth fund, which continues the same investment strategy in which the previous funds invested. Since 2002, TJC has made more than 79 investments and manages assets amounting to approximately $23 billion.
Strategy:
The fund makes buyout mid-market investments by acquiring control of the target companies. The fund invests mainly in the US, in mid-sized companies (EV of $100 million to $2 billion) in 4 key sectors: Diversified Industrials, Logistics and Supply Chain, Consumer and Healthcare and Tech, Telecom and Power. The investment process focuses on selecting companies in which an optimized process can be produced by implementing an operational strategy (a process that is led by the group’s operational team) and on the strategic side, mainly by increasing the market share and product range of the target companies, through acquisitions and mergers.
