Established in April 2021, Harel Finance Alternative HaMagen Europe is the third fund of Harel Finance Alternative, whereas the first fund was engaged in equity investments in the US real estate market, and the second fund in provision of loans to yielding real estate. The current fund follows the strategy of the second fund.
The fund focuses on providing real estate-backed loans to real estate entrepreneurs in Western Europe in defensive areas. The fund will invest in loans for projects based in city centers, for business uses only, mainly with first-degree (senior debt) or second-degree (secondary debt) liens and against a personal guarantee from a real estate developer. The investment is made together with local partners who have experience in the field.
