Fund Overview:
Brookfield Strategic Real Estate Partners V is a limited partnership established in February 2023 and is registered in Delaware, USA. The fund was founded by Brookfield Corporation, which was established in 1899 and manages global investment funds in a variety of fields, including real estate. The total AUM are about 850 billion dollars, 272 billion dollars of which are in the real estate division. The purpose of the fund is to raise about 15 billion dollars in order to invest in companies and opportunistic real estate assets around the world. The fund is represented by a private equity leader in Israel who will allow access for qualified Israeli investors through a designated feeder.

Strategy:
The fund will make opportunistic real estate purchases around the world. These acquisitions will be diverse both in the type of assets and in terms of the scope of the transactions. All acquisitions will focus on opportunistic real estate assets, from individual assets to a portfolio of assets, or purchase of ownership of real estate companies. The fund team locates quality properties that are underpriced than their potential. After the purchase, the fund will implement the property improvement plan and will use operating companies that will manage and operate the properties, including construction and renovations, drafting and execution of leases, and more.
